Today’s top trending topic (as of 12:29 a.m.) is Tina Fey. From what I gather Fey has a new book out Bossy Pants and the juicy tidbit the news world has picked out is Fey blaming her SNL impression of Sarah Palin for poor ratings for ’30 Rock.’
Tina and I usually see eye to eye but I might remind her that ratings for ’30 Rock’ weren’t great before the impression either. The reason for the poor ratings might be that people don’t like the show too much. I enjoy it but it sometimes seems like an NBC inside joke most of the time and last time I checked that network isn’t dominating TV (aside from SVU of course). And I think people mostly enjoyed the Palin impression. I mean even the most ardent tea party crazy would have to admit she’s a comedic goldmine.
