Today’s top trending topic is ‘How I Met Your Mother.’ The show’s co-creator, Craig Thomas, is urging fans not to miss the last two minutes of tonight’s show because they’ll be a big tease about the future of the show.
No, we’re not going to find out the identity of the Mother and we’re not going to see her face but we are going to find out who is getting married in that wedding scene they keep flashing forward to where Ted and Marshall are talking outside the church. My money is on Barney.
Thomas also gave some hints about the future of the program, saying that there will probably only be two more seasons, so there may be reason to believe we could meet the Mother next season.
Thomas told TV Guide:
"We'll meet [the mother] a little ways down the road!" Thomas says. "But we're opening up a new mystery in the finale and we're not going to delay a lot of the answers because Season 8's probably our last season.”
I’m not as big a fan of this show as I used to be but I refuse to quit any of my shows and I’m glad to see this one might be picking up a little steam plot wise. Now if they would just not write Ted as so douche-like I’d be happier.
Great show but it would have been better if they knew from the get go how many seasons they would do. It's like every season they have a scenario where he meets the mother they can unveil just in case the show gets cancelled.
