USA! CIA!
While the U.S. Armed Forces, the Navy Seals and Seal Team Six deserve a well-earned thank you from all Americans for their brave takedown of public enemy #1 – the fine work of the CIA to find OBL should also be commended.
President Obama pressed the CIA months ago to put locating and killing bin Laden as their top priority and the agency responded by tracking the only person that could lead them to the famous terrorist – his courier who was responsible for releasing bin Laden’s transmissions to the world.
It’s kind of fitting that not only was OBL killed the same date that Hitler committed his cowardly suicide but that Hitler was also a courier during WWI and OBL was ultimately done in by his use of couriers. Whether it’s in an underground cellar or a Pakistani mansion – if you screw with the good guys you die. And the CIA, whose often secret activities are sometimes regarded as less than heroic by its own citizenry, can be seen as heroes today.
