Congrats of course go out to the Dallas Mavericks for winning Game 1 and Dirk Nowitzki for dropping 40+ in his 2011 Western Conference Finals debut. Now that that’s out of the way we can get back to Tinseltown and ongoing soap opera which is the L.A. Lakers.
Rumors swirled after the Mavericks’ sweep of the Lakers that Pau Gasol’s relationship problems were to blame for his playoff struggles.
Love on the rocks. Ain’t no surprise. But what caused Gasol’s relationship problems? Well, Shannon Brown wants everyone to know it wasn’t because he banged Gasol’s girl.
Although no one was pointing fingers in Brown’s direction he didn’t to clear his name to all of Twitter with this tweet last weekend.
“Ok let me put a end to this right now before it goes any further. I DID NOT SLEEP with @PauGasol woman!!! First and last time addressing it!”
That’s good to know. So I guess Shannon Brown is probably on the trade block now. But who knows? Maybe Pau and Shannon can kiss and make up. It’s not like Shannon went Delonte West on Pau’s mom or anything.
P.S. – If Shannon did do the deed then Pau’s girl must be pretty hot. Hot enough to cheat on R&B star Monica, Shannon Browns girlfriend.
