As many of you noticed I was absent from blogging yesterday as I was making my way back from Houston where I was visiting my brother for his birthday and partaking in our annual ritual of watching Wrestlemania.
As corny as wrestling is and as bad as the product continues to get we can’t resist the opportunity to hand Vince McMahon $55 as a matter of habit. As every year WWE tries to get a big time celebrity to participate in the show. Unfortunately this year all they could scrounge up was Jersey Shore’s Snooki.
Admittedly I didn’t watch much of the match as I generally use the women’s match at Wrestlemania to dispose of the pizza and hot wings I ingest before it begins. As I first saw the video of Snooki’s match today I was surprised at how agile and acrobatic she was. So I guess there’s hope for Snooki. After MTV ditches her she can stay on the Shore and work the circus. Or speak at colleges for thousands of dollars.
