Signs of Satan

Church enlists Satan in advertising campaign
Ads signed by 'Satan' say the Michigan church 'makes me sick'

TRENTON, Mich. - A Michigan church is enlisting Satan in a bid to drum up attendance at services.

Metro South Church in the Detroit suburb of Trenton is posting signs saying the non-denominational Christian congregation "sucks" and "makes me sick."

The ads are signed by Satan.

The campaign even has a Web site explaining why Satan hates the church.

Youth Pastor Adam Dorband told WJBK-TV the church is trying to reach out to people and cut through the "noise."

Dorband said Jesus "wants us to be creative and he wants us to ... use whatever it takes to reach people."

Pastor Jeremy Schossau said the campaign is meant to be whimsical and isn't intended to upset anyone.

I'm usually not one to agree with a church, but I must say these signs are a great idea. They're at least a lot more entertaining than the God signs that read, "Tell the kids I love them." I just wanna yell, "I don't have kids! Am I not good enough for you?"

Eventually I see these signs getting way out of hand. The church will start using them to push their ideologies. Think of the possibilities:

"Adam Lambert is my new BFF" - Satan
"You know what goes great with premarital sex? Terrorism." - Satan
"Muench 3:16" - Satan
