This post isn't going to be funny. I found this video on the Weird News link but there's not a thing weird or funny about it. It's more just about the military state we're becoming in the U.S. when it comes to enforcing DUI laws.
Here's the tale of a guy who does a sobriety test and passes. Then he does a breathalyzer and passes. Then they get a warrant for his blood and he gives it. But when they want a piss sample and he doesn't have to go, so they shove a catheter in him and get what they want. DUI is an offense in the U.S. where one is presumed guilty before innocent and cops have become way too overzealous in enforcing these offenses.
Not to mention, I think warrants for blood and urine are ridiculous. To get such a warrant for a murder case, you have to have sufficient evidence. And suspicion does not count as evidence. So if I swerve once or my tailight is out and my breath has beer on it, that doesn't make for evidence. It makes for suspicion. What about people whose religion forbids them from giving a blood sample? The Supreme Court needs to take a serious, long and hard look at DUIs and decide if they are going to be bullied just like the courts at every other level.
