Gas for your Green
Md. police say man tried to pay for gas with pot
Driver faces drug possession charges after his motorcycle is searched

NEW MARKET, Md. - Frederick County sheriff's deputies have arrested a man accused of offering marijuana to store clerks in payment for gasoline.
It allegedly happened Monday about 3 p.m. at the Classic Fuels Store on Old National Pike. Deputies said a 52-year-old man offered marijuana to pay for gasoline, and a clerk in the store called authorities.
The man and his motorcycle were searched, and deputies said they found suspected cocaine, Oxycodone pills and suspected marijuana.
This guy must have wanted to go somewhere pretty important to offer weed for some fuel. As expensive as gas is, I'm pretty sure pot is still a shade more pricey. Plus it gets you high. I guess gas does too, but it might give you brain damage.
Also, isn't it a bit odd that this guy got caught. Gas station attendents aren't usually the most upstanding citizens. If this guy pulled this move at 10 gas stations that day, I bet he would have gotten 6 people to say yes and 3 more would have not called the cops. He had to get the one classy gas attendent. That's terrible luck.
