Nicholson 'asked Jessica Simpson on date'

Jack Nicholson has reportedly asked Jessica Simpson out on a date.
The veteran actor allegedly invited the 29-year-old singer to join him for dinner at his home, according to Simpson, who declined the offer.
Simpson told The Sun: "I have no idea how Jack got my number as we've never met. He asked if I wanted to go to his Beverly Hills house for dinner."
Earlier this month, Simpson revealed that she has faith that she'll find the right partner.
Jack must like the prospect of having J Simp's mom jeans wadded up at the foot of his bed. But I have to say I commend him for his effort and I'm actually suprised it failed. Jessica's stock isn't all that high and its pretty obvious that between the fat jokes and having her sex secrets revealed by John Mayer, that her self esteem probably isn't sky high at the moment. Jack saw an opportunity and went for it. But I guess she can't handle the truth. Oh well, at least Jack will soon have an NBA championship to celebrate.
