Car drags woman clinging to designer purse

A woman in Scotland was dragged behind a car after a purse snatcher tried to take her Louis Vuitton handbag and she wouldn't let go.
The 22-year-old woman was walking down the street in Edinburgh just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday when a car with three men inside called her over. When she approached the vehicle, one of the men grabbed her purse and the car sped off, the Scottish broadcaster STV reported.
But the woman refused to let go. She was dragged a short distance before the man who grabbed the purse let go.
"Thankfully the culprits were unsuccessful in their attempt to rob the victim; however, she did receive minor injuries that required hospital treatment, and we are keen for any information that can help us identify those responsible," a police spokesman said.
This story just goes to show how bad things are not just in this country, but in the world with consumerism and the worship of junk. It's a just a purse lady. It's not worth almost being dragged to your death. In this story I'm almost willing to be the purse snatcher may be a better person than the snatchee. Seriously, unless you have a bar of gold or Gray's Sports Almanac in there just drop the purse, get the plate number, call the cops and hope for the best. Don't be a hero.
