The Top 5

Serial Killer week continues on the Top 5 with possibly the most infamous killer of all-time.
#4 - Jack the Ripper
I will admit. It was much leff difficult to kill in 1888 than it is today or any other time since the invention of many modern investigative tools. That said, Jack the Ripper has become a world-wide phenomenon, which is rare with serial killers.

Generally tales of serial killers stay relevant to the city and state in which they happen but struggle to become relevant at the national level and almost never, capture the attention of the world. A good example would be the two living serial killers with the most victims, Pedro Lopez and Luis Garavito. Ever heard of them? Probably not, but Lopez has killed more than 300 and Garavito has confessed to 140 killings.

So a case like Jack the Ripper's is unique because he became so famous and, of course, because he was never caught.
