Today, I was reading a text from my girlfriend as i was paying for my shopping in a supermarket. As i was thinking what to reply, the woman behind the counter handed me my change. I got confused and said "Thank you, I love you!" FML
This one wasn't that great but I posted it because it reminds me of how akward I am in stores. I usually always say 'You too' after a transaction because I always expect the person will say 'Thank you' or 'Have a nice day' and most of the time it works out. But sometimes the person says 'Come back soon' and after my response I simply look like a buffoon. I think I just need to switch over and start saying 'Gracias' as I prepare for the move south.
