Billshit! Buffalo fires Jauron
Bills fire Jauron as head coach; Fewell to take over as interim

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- The Buffalo Bills promoted defensive coordinator Perry Fewell to take over as interim head coach after Dick Jauron was fired on Tuesday.
Fewell was given the job on Tuesday, hours after Bills owner Ralph Wilson fired Jauron after the team's 3-6 start. Wilson credited Fewell for "demonstrating excellent leadership skills," while noting the players have plenty of "confidence in him."
In his 12th NFL season, and fourth with Buffalo, Fewell becomes the team's first black coach.
The shakeup came two days after a 41-17 loss at Tennessee, dropping Buffalo further out of contention and in jeopardy of missing the playoffs for a 10th straight year.
Wilson ran out of patience with Jauron, who ran out of time to build a contender or come up with a way to fix an offense that sputtered even with the addition of Terrell Owens.
The shakeup, which caught some players by surprise, came during the players' day off and after the Bills (3-6) stumbled out of their off week to fall further out of contention with a 41-17 loss at Tennessee last weekend.
Fewell is in his fourth season as the team's defensive coordinator, and 12th in the NFL who's background is primarily on the defensive side.
So, the Buffalo Bills are now serving as a microcosm for our fine United States. The Bills fired an inept white man who took the Bills into the pits of hell with his terrible mismanagement and replaced him with a charismatic, unproven black man who has yet to prove himself on the big stage. Unfortunately for the Bills, I think Perry Fewell has a much bigger mess to clean up than Obama. Like the worst offense in football, two terrible quarterbacks and an eroding defense. Plus his boss is an out of touch 90-year-old who often forgets where he is. Good luck.
P.S. - Perry Fewell? When I first heard the name I thought the Bills had hired former Janes Addiction and Porno for Pyros frontman Perry Ferrell. The Bills might not get any better but they can something "when they want something and they don't want to pay for it."
