George Hill Naked Pictures Cause Heated Exchange

George Hill's naked body may be here to stay on the web. Nude pictures of the 23-year-old San Antonio Spurs guard appeared at the web site TheDirty.com.

A lawyer for the Spurs sent the web site a letter claiming that "the photographs were disseminated illegally and without permission." The organization "demand[s] that thedirty.com immediately and permanently remove the photographs and all references to the Spurs and the Spurs' Marks from its web site." Scroll down to see the full letter, which was posted at TMZ.

Unfortunately for the Spurs and George Hill, a lawyer for TheDirty.com shot back, dismissing a Spurs argument as "totally without merit" and calling the team "not so sophisticated" as TheDirty.com readers.

Hill apologized for nude pictures of himself that were recently posted online.

In a statement issued by the team on Tuesday, Hill said: "A year ago I made a mistake and take full responsibility for my actions. I have matured and learned from this episode."

Last month, Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden apologized for nude photos of himself that surfaced on the Internet.



I've watched George Hill play a few times in the past couple years and I thought he was a quick shooter but I guess I didn't know the half of it as the text message above indicates. For the full gamut of redacted photos click here. I'm still not sure where to find the unedited ones.

I really think the Spurs misplayed this one. As we've all seen with celebrity sex tapes in the past few years, there is basically no recourse for parties with a sex tape. Once you knowingly record yourself or take pictures of yourself and share those with anyone, there's no getting the photos back. When the Spurs found out about these photos they should have told Hill it was his tough luck and to issue an apology and it would have blown over. Just look at Greg Oden. There was no negative pub for him or the Blazers. Everyone is just psyched for Oden that he's packing. But maybe Hill isn't quite as endowed and with the quick cummer line he's probably not coming off locking quite as good.

P.S. - The next time Spurs naked photos are mentioned I hope Eva Longoria is involved.
