1677 – The future Mary II of England marries William, Prince of Orange. They would later jointly reign as William and Mary.
1825 – The Erie Canal is completed with Governor DeWitt Clinton performing the Wedding of The Waters ceremony in New York Harbour.

Talk about your big time b-days. How about a two-fer with Diddy and McConaughey? There's no way these two douches haven't spent their birthday together at least once. I don't know if they drank champagne in the NY or played naked bongos in Austin but they've shared cake. Speaking of spending birthdays together, I'm sure Wilfolk and Hester burned down South Beach a time or two on Nov. 4.
