This is what happens in Nebraska when its not football season
Neb. man sentenced for firing crossbow at neighbor
AP
LINCOLN, Neb. -A 49-year-old man was sentenced to two -to four years in prison for firing a crossbow after a dispute about the breed of a neighbor's dog last June. The neighbor said it was a pit bull; Carlos Lupercio said a labrador. Lupercio went home, returned with a crossbow pistol and fired at his neighbor, just missing.
Police said alcohol fueled the incident.
Lupercio had pleaded no contest to terroristic threats and animal neglect. The judge credited him for 282 days of jail time.
Alcohol fueled the incident huh? I couldn't have guessed that one. There aren't too many crossbow firing incidents over the breed of a dog that aren't alcohol fueled. Odds are these two guys will get over this just in time to see the Huskers return to glory this season. Damn I can't wait until September!
P.S. - That's Melissa Midwest in the photo. If I ever do get married it will be to her and I will hire Scott Frost to sire me a son who will rewrite the Nebraska record books.
