If freedom isn't free they should just call it atacostdom.
Traveling evangelist raises tension in free speech area

Despite anger from some students at the biblical message of a traveling evangelist, Texas Tech campus officials and students continue to support the free speech area students and non-students utilize to convey opinions and messages.
Jed Smock, a traveling evangelist from Columbia, Mo., began speaking at Tech's free speech area Monday and will continue through today.
Smock, who is funded by donations to his company, The Campus Ministry USA, said he is visiting the campus to proclaim his message just before the Easter holiday.
However, many students took exception to Smock's message, as was evidenced by arguments between students and Smock about the Bible and Christian philosophies.
They really buried the lead on this deal. Like its not in the entire story. I read two pages worth of students wax philosophical on the free speech area so I could find out what this guy's crackpot theory was and nothing. There wasn't even a quote from the guy. Now I've got to make it up in my mind. Screw it. I'm going to Lubbock. Maybe I can catch him before he leaves.
