Strike A Pose

The Heisman Trophy presentation is tomorrow night and since one of Nebraska's own will be in attendance I figured it was a good time to reminisce about Nebraska's past winners - Eric Crouch, Mike Rozier and Johnny Rodgers. I also included Tommie Frazier because, as we all know, he got screwed out of the trophy that ended up going to that assbag Eddie George.

One of the best runs I've seen. Crouch's speed was unbelievable. Pretty fly for a white guy.

The best run I've ever seen. Frazier led Nebraska to two national championships as starting QB and his career culminated with this destructive run against Florida.

Rozier was the star of one of the best backfields in college football history, which included QB Turner Gill, RB Roger Craig and FB Tom Rathman. Not to mention they had a receiver named Irving Fryar. But Rozier was the talent among talents. He could improvise with the best of them.

Rodgers was Nebraska's first Heisman winner and the only one who didn't play in the option system. Back in those days Nebraska threw the ball around a little more which made it possible for a receiver/kick returner to win the Heisman.
