A real snowball fight
Man allegedly assaults wife over snow shoveling
AP
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – Police arrested a man who allegedly assaulted his wife when she refused to help him shovel snow. Officers said they went to the residence early Wednesday afternoon after the 44-year-old woman said her husband struck her in the head with his chest and attempted to pull her out of the house.
The woman complained of pain in her head and leg, but refused medical treatment. She said she had been quarreling with her 45-year-old husband because he had accused her of being lazy around the house.
The husband allegedly admitted to quarreling with his wife and putting his hands on her. He was arrested on suspicion of domestic abuse.
Look, I'm not advocating domestic violence here, but what it have killed this broad to help with the snow shoveling? Women are all up in arms about equality when we're talking pay but when it comes down to snow shoveling time they want to revert to traditional gender roles. You can't have it both ways. I really feel for this guy. I bet its cold shoveling all that snow in a wife beater. At the least this lady could have gone and bought him some Busch Light and peppermint schnapps.
