Cops miss target, accidentally Taser teen girl

Police in England have apologized to the family of a 14-year-old girl after they accidentally shot her with a Taser.
Police in Nottinghamshire were trying to arrest a man late Thursday who was acting aggressively when they fired the Taser and hit Jodie Gallagher, the Daily Mail newspaper reported.
"It was like a really big cramp, like an electric shock really and I just couldn't move," Gallagher told the newspaper.
In a statement, police said as soon as the officer realized he missed the intended target "he cancelled the discharge" and the Taser was "successfully redeployed."
Police are also "liaising with the girl and her family and have apologized for what happened."
I'm really sorry for this poor girl. The cops should really be more careful. That's it. Nothing else to add. Yeah, you know why I posted a taser story. I just wanted an opportunity to post this again.
