Devine Combine

Tim Tebow Not Kidding About How Devout He Is To Reinventing Himself
Harvey Bars/TiricoSuave.com

Wow, Tim Tebow was serious when he said was going to work on taking a more Orthodox approach. Although I have heard rumors that his new delivery is going to make it much easier for him to Passover the line of scrimmage. That said, when it comes to the NFL Draft, I guess some people will do just about anything to be Chosen. Then again, maybe next season he goes out there and win one for the Kippur. You’re right. That was one too many but at least it’s better than the pro-Choice motif that I was originally planning on going with.

So the NFL Combine has come and gone for one more year with possibly more attention being paid to one of the most overrated events in sports than ever before. The Combine is basically an excuse for old men (NFL scouts) to make young, verile men prance around in their underwear. Its like a strip club for aging, boring gay guys. Of course the main focus was on Tim Tebow who refused to showcase his new throwing motion (he's saving it for Florida's Pro Day). So instead we saw Tebow stretch, run and talk. Stuff we already knew he could do. I'd be more impressed if I saw him throw a spiral or lose his virginity. But I was happy to hear Mr. Suh held up against the pressure of being the projected #1 pick.

Suh holds up under spotlight

INDIANAPOLIS -- Potential No. 1 overall draft choice Ndamukong Suh is taking his turn with reporters at the NFL combine. The question he's getting most frequently from the media -- and from NFL teams -- concerns how well he might function as a pass-rusher after focusing more on team defense at Nebraska.

Suh said he has not yet spoken with the Rams, but there is obviously still time for that. He is handling the media spotlight comfortably even though he said the intensity of interest stood out as the biggest surprise of his combine experience to this point.
