One of the most intriguing things about the human race is looking at the differences amongst its memebers. Sure there are differences based on race, creed, color, religion, etc. But then you have those subcultures, those niche groups that most intriguing. Here is the story of one such subculture - the juggalo. Thanks to Smitty for letting me know about this wondeful group of folks.
The urban dictionary sums these guys up best: "Darwin's biggest obstacle." Wikipedia defines a juggalo or juggalette (female) as a fan of the Insane Clown Posse or any other Psychopathic Records hip hop group. It also says Juggalos have developed their own idioms, slang and characteristics. Jospeh Utsler (the co-founder of the Juggalos) explained in 2005, "you could be a Juggalo and not even listen to ICP. A Juggalo os a frame of mind and what not."
The Gathering of the Juggalos is an annual event for the Juggalo family put on by Psychopathic Records first staged in July 2000. Utsler calls it the "Juggalo Woodstock."
