You remind me of my high school drinking coach
Man jailed for fatal drinking game

BERLIN — A German court has sentenced a Berlin barkeeper to three years and five months in prison after he was convicted of bodily harm with fatal consequences for a drinking match that left his teenage opponent dead.
Aytac Guzelarslan apologized ahead of the trial Friday to the family of 16-year-old Lukas Wels who died after the barkeeper served him more than 45 shots of tequila while filling his own glass mostly with water.
A Berlin health official called the 2007 drinking death “a warning to society.”
Government reports have shown a steady increase of teenage binge drinking over recent years, with more teenagers admitted to hospitals with alcohol poisoning.
Let this serve as an example the next time some European tries to tell us how bad our public school system is. I would at least hope an American student might throw the BS flag after about 20 shots when his opponent is stone cold sober. To be honest this guy probably deserves a worse sentence but I'm sure the kid was in there running his mouth. I understand why he did it.
This also reminds me of the time my uncle smashed Dr. Death Steve Williams in a tequila drinking contest before the Orange Bowl.
