Police: Teen torched car because he hated it

FREEPORT, New York - Most drivers who don't like their car either trade it in or sell it.
Police on New York's Long Island say a teenager set his BMW on fire "simply because he hated the car." Nassau County police didn't offer additional details on the alleged motive.
Police say a surveillance camera recorded the 18-year-old torching the 1992 BMW on July 10. At the time, it was parked only a few feet (a meter) from his apartment building.
The defendant was awaiting a court appearance Friday in First District Court in Hempstead. The charges include arson and reckless endangerment.
This is the problem with kids these days. They don't appreciate anything. Don't like the car your parents buy for you? Just make them feel like crap in an internet video or blow the damn thing up. Maybe I was a bit spoiled because the first truck my folks bought me was a brand new, red beauty but I would have been happy with anything. Or at least I would have acted that way. But kids aren't realistic these days.
As usual, I blame MTV. Damn Paris Hilton and 'The Hills' kids are ruining this country. That's why we need national healt care. Because the sick kids that are about to be running the insurance companies and corporate world would kill us for a nickel.
