The Super Friends have gone downhill

Wow, you know the economy has really hit rock bottom when the Man of Steel and the Caped Crusader have to panhandle to make a little cash. As strapped as city governments are Metropolis and Gotham City can't afford to be paying outside crime fighters. Plus Bruce Wayne made some really poor business decisions and went broke before the bailout.
