PORTLAND, Maine - A fourth-grade teacher has apologized for playing the groom in a mock wedding to a student.
The Portland Press Herald reported that Paul Rosenblum agreed to participate after the girl proposed and his class at the Plummer-Motz School in Falmouth, Maine, cajoled him.
At the brief playground ceremony, Rosenblum wore a black graduation gown and a clown tie. The girl had a sheet draped around her clothes for a gown.
Chalk one up for the PC police. Is it just more or does it seem like the teacher was just playing along with a goofy joke but because a few embalenced cougars like Mary Kay Letorneau want to rob the cradle now we have to get all up in arms about something like this. Hey parents, if he were planning on molesting your kids he probably wouldn't be so brash as to have a fake wedding in the schoolyard. Morons.
