A Bug's Life.
Ladybugs Turn Mountain Area Red
AOL News
July 11) - A modest Colorado mountain might just be the luckiest place in the world.
Ladybugs have inundated a remote neighborhood on a peak in Jefferson County. What began as a few red dots on drainpipes lower down swelled to swarms blanketing every inch of trees near the mountaintop.
Residents talked to local station KUSA only after the reporter promised not to reveal the location of the amazing red masses. Theirs is a small, quiet area, they said. Few live there -- until now.
I'm really dragging the bottom of the barrell for stories today but they image on the mountain is pretty cool. If you're into that sort of thing. Plus the story got me thinking about that Rodney Dangerfield movie "Ladybugs." It had Jonathan Brandis in a tootsie type role where he played girl's soccer. He was also good in "Outside Providence" as 'Mousie.' Then he killed himself. Bummer.
