Repo My Kiddo
Car repossessed with 2-year-old asleep in backseat

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Police in California say a car dealer who repossessed a San Jose woman's car left with something a bit more valuable: her 2-year-old son.
The child was sleeping in the back seat Tuesday night when the car was taken away because the boy's mother, Isabel Leuvano, was behind on her payments.
Leuvano says she was waiting for her daughter outside the running car when someone jumped in and drove off, the San Jose Mercury News reported.
Police say the man who drove off was the owner of Alberto's Auto Sales.
Officers located the toddler a half-hour later - about the time Luna told authorities that he noticed the boy.
Sgt. Ronnie Lopez says kidnapping charges don't appear to be warranted.
With the economic downturn we're currently entrenched in there's never been a better time to be a repo man in the U.S. Of course its tricky business. You have to be quick and crafty. So I'm going to give this guy a pass for the most part. This lady should have paid her bills or given back the car. But losing her kid for a few hours was certainly horrifying. I think this lady should get to steal one item from the repo man's home and they can call it even.
P.S. - The guy in the photo was a pro wrestler in the 80s called 'Repo Man.' He also was the coach of the Odessa Roughnecks for a few games a few years back before he was replaced by the team's former coach. I was sad to see the Repo Man go.
