Alabama's Ping Prom Paddle

Prom dress paddlings

Oxford, AL - Erica DeRamus was suspended from her Oxford, Alabama high school for arriving at the senior prom in an outfit that violated the dress code.

DeRamus was told her dress was too short and too revealing up top, but her mom said she wouldn't have bought it if she thought there was too much cleavage.

Perhaps most shocking is that as punishment, DeRamus had to choose between suspension and being paddled, and of the 18 students who violated the dress code, DeRamus was the only one who chose suspension.

The other 17 picked paddling.

Okay, I have to get something straight here. Was the paddling punishment actually doled out at the prom? Because if that's the case I'm pretty sure this principal just instered an arbitrary dress code so he could score the opportunity to spank girls in prom dresses. And if that is the case you have to say "well played." He got to fufill a fantasy with underage girls and there's nothing the authorities can do about it.

And that girl can just cool it with the "high school students are adults and you can't spank us" crap. Just wait to you miss your first credit card payment Sweetie. Then you'll ask to be considered a kid and wish you could be paddled instead of dealing with the interest rate hike. Spoiled brat.
