Stop Yelling At Me!

This video is embarrassing on multiple levels. It's bad enough to be Aggies. It's worse to be a male cheerleader. It's humiliating to sing like a fairy to techno with your male cheerleader friends. But when its on the way to a game your team lost 62-14. That's a perfect storm of shame. Here's betting it goes pretty much the same way on the road trip to Lubbock. Maybe they won't be stupid enough to post it on Youtube this time.

Grizzled Reporting

You Don't Mess With Montana's Communications Students
Deadspin.com

Following an order from the coach to his team to stop talking to their reporters, Montana's student newspaper struck back in a beautifully catty way: they started covering the Grizzlies' opponents.

It started when the Kaimin, UM's student paper, published an investigation on an alleged assault by two players. Coach Bobby Hauck, a gaping vagina of the highest order, made his displeasure known in his press conferences.

At a recent weekly news conference, a Kaimin reporter asked Hauck whether he was going to continue rotating quarterbacks.

"You want something from me now?" replied Hauck. "You've got to be kidding me."

A Missoulian sportswriter immediately followed up with the same question, to which Hauck provided an answer.

At the following week's news conference, the Kaimin reporter again asked a question - this one on how the Grizzly defense would defend against the speed of an opposing running back.

Hauck's reply: "I'll give you this, you're persistent. Who's next?"

More recently, a player told a reporter that he wasn't allowed to talk to the Kaimin staff, a directive that supposedly came down from Hauck.

Faced with this stonewalling, the paper did what they had to do. For the homecoming Gameday publication, which usually profiles a Grizzly player, they ran a feature on a coach for the opposing Cal Poly.

You've got to love the moxy of this kid. Doing a feature of an opposing team's player after being blocked by the Grizz. I wish I would have thought of that when Leach banned the UD back in '03 after my thrashing assessment of the Red Raider defense. But it was Baylor week and I figured noone would care much about missing quotes. I was right. This kid has a future in the biz though. Too bad the biz is almost extinct. I guess there's always the internet.

People in glass houses shouldn't watch porno

Woman accused of broadcasting porn near school
AP

GRAND FORKS, N.D. -A woman is accused of showing a pornographic video out the window of her Grand Forks home near an elementary school.

Police said 37-year-old Nicole Altendorf bit an officer's arm and kicked him several times in the groin as he tried arrest her Friday. In the squad car, she allegedly spit in the officer's face.

Altendorf faces felony charges of simple assault, contact by bodily fluids and preventing arrest, along with misdemeanor charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.

Her bail was set Friday at $4,000. Her attorney did not return a phone message seeking comment.

Let me play devil's advocate for a second. What if this lady just inadvertently forgot to close her blinds and the porno display was inadvertent. I think she's got a great case then. Just imagine if you had just settled in for a nice afternoon of porno and you get a knock at the door from some overhanded cops talking about shutting off my TV. I think kicking the cops in the nuts and spitting on them is letting them off easy. At the end of the day, inadvertent or not, censorship is never okay!

In all seriousness this woman sounds like she may have gotten into the meth.

Morehouse wants less Crossdressers

ATLANTA, Georgia (Oct. 18) -- An all-male college in Atlanta, Georgia, has banned the wearing of women's clothes, makeup, high heels and purses as part of a new crackdown on what the institution calls inappropriate attire.

No dress-wearing is part of a larger dress code launched this week that Morehouse College is calling its "Appropriate Attire Policy."

Embedded video from CNN Video

The policy also bans wearing hats in buildings, pajamas in public, do-rags, sagging pants, sunglasses in class and walking barefoot on campus.

However, it is the ban on cross-dressing that has brought national attention to the small historically African-American college.

The dress-wearing ban is aimed at a small part of the private college's 2,700-member student body, said Dr. William Bynum, vice president for Student Services.

"We are talking about five students who are living a gay lifestyle that is leading them to dress a way we do not expect in Morehouse men," he said.

Before the school released the policy, Bynum said, he met with Morehouse Safe Space, the campus' gay organization.

"We talked about it and then they took a vote," he said. "Of the 27 people in the room, only three were against it."

I guess this decision really puts a stop to anyone who was going to go as Dennis Rodman to Halloween parties at Morehouse.

I really like the video tries to make it seem like the gay/crossdresser issue is just some tiny side issue in the grander scheme of a dress policy. I understand that Martin Luther King set a good standard for Morehouse and for African American men. Does that mean that male students there need to lie about their sexuality and gender identity?

What is the issue that mainstream Black America has with homosexuals? You would have thought they would have progressed on the issue at the same rate as other races, but not really. The "closet" has gotten easier to escape in America but it seems like being "on the downlow" is almost inescapable. That's why Obama is afraid to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Because he understands most of the bipartisan support he got in '08 was from conservatibe black churchgoers.

F My Life Moment of the Day

Today, I had a phone interview for a job I've had my eye on forever. I was dumped a few hours before the interview, but was okay until I was put on hold with music playing. Me and my boyfriend's song came on and I started bawling. I could hardly talk when they took me off hold. FML

Today, I was on cloud nine when the beautiful waitress I frequently ordered takeaways from told me she didn't need to take my name as she remembers me from before. When I got my food I saw the sales slip. On it she had written, "Cheeseburger - Fries - Coke - nerdy guy with bad haircut." FML

Lamar and Khloe Strike a Prenup Deal
by TMZ Staff

TMZ has learned Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian have struck a deal with a prenup -- and even though Lamar gets to keep his earnings separate, Khloe got more than he initially offered.

We know Lamar and Khloe have orally agreed, but the deal is not yet inked. It's basically the same structure as we first reported when they began negotiating. Lamar's $33 million -- which he stands to make during his 4-year contract with the Lakers -- is out of bounds for Khloe. But Lamar will fund the joint account, and Khloe can do considerable damage with that.

Again, as we reported, Khloe will get an annual lump sum, which will not go up or down throughout the marriage.

We also know during the negotiations Khloe (with the help of her mom, Kris) got Lamar to agree to buy a nice, expensive house for both of them that will probably cost $5 million minimum.

Sources say the deal should be signed this week.

As for reports that Khloe gets Laker tickets, that was never part of the deal. Besides, she now has someone who can hook her up if she wants.

Well I'm glad Lamar went ahead and got this deal out of the way before the season. The last thing the Lake Show would have needed was this dragging out, Khloe withdrawing sex and the second unit having no spark. Ms. Kardashian Odom gets a big house and an impressive allowance to fritter away. Now, shut your pie hole Yoko! Don't derail the team.

P.S. - It's unfortunate Robert Kardashian is dead or he could have negotiated the deal. Of course, if his widow and Bruce Jenner wouldn't have gotten together we would have run the risk of a Kardashian marrying Brody Jenner. The potential worthlesness of such an offspring the likes of which have never been seen.

Weighty Controversy

Fit for office? NJ election tiptoes around f-word
By Geoff Mulvihill, The Associated Press

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — There are weighty issues in New Jersey’s tight race for governor — the highest property taxes in the nation, for one thing. And then there are issues of weight.

Republican challenger Chris Christie’s Henry VIII-like girth has become a front-and-center topic of discussion ever since Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine ran a commercial claiming that Christie “threw his weight around” to get out of traffic violations.

The ad, first aired last month, showed a clip of a rotund Christie, his extra pounds rolling beneath his shirt, lumbering out of the back seat of an SUV.

Corzine spokesman Sean Darcy insisted the governor “has no interest in Chris Christie’s appearance.”

But Corzine, a trim 62-year-old who has been running 5K races around the state to demonstrate his fitness, has not exactly tried to squelch use of the f-word. When asked by a newspaper whether he thought Christie was fat, Corzine touched his bare pate and responded, “Am I bald?”

There is little evidence the commercial is changing many voters’ minds, but it has been a sensation online, getting more than 100,000 hits on YouTube — way more than any other ad in the race. And it has clearly changed the conversation on the campaign trail.

Christie, a 47-year-old former federal prosecutor, won’t say what he weighs. But he acknowledged he has been struggling since college to lose weight. He said that he has dropped nearly 30 pounds since he started campaigning by working out with a trainer, and that he doesn’t have any related health problems.

The “threw-his-weight-around” ad attracted hardly any public criticism during its two-week run, perhaps because New Jersey voters themselves are saying far worse things about the candidates online, with Christie sometimes referred to as “Fatso,” and Corzine as “Corslime.”

Well, President Taft must be rolling over in his piano crate, I mean coffin. Corzine's ad is a mean spirited attack making Christie appear as a "fat cat." But I ask you this? Is it really hitting below the belt if the man's stomach overlaps his belt. It kind of gets confusing where to hit. As a fat man myself maybe I should be more offended but that's the price you pay as a public figure.

In all seriousness I love the fake outrage from the same network that has been insisiting that the President is a radical Muslim that was born in Kenya. They know nothing of unfair attacks.

Bear Run!

Black Bear Cools Off in Beer Fridge
AP

HAYWARD, Wis. (Oct. 17) -- Shoppers in a Wisconsin grocery store got an unexpected surprise when a 125-pound black bear wandered inside and headed straight for the beer cooler.

The bear stopped Friday night at Marketplace Foods in Hayward, about 140 miles northeast of Minneapolis, sauntering through the automatic doors and heading straight for the liquor department.

It calmly climbed up 12 feet onto a shelf in the beer cooler where it sat for about an hour while employees helped evacuate customers and summoned wildlife officials.

Officials from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources tranquilized the animal and took it out of the store. Store workers say the bear seemed content in the cooler and did not consume any alcohol.

This has to be the coolest bear ever - figuratively and literally. He didn't look for the honey or milk, he went straight for the booze. And the only reason he didn't drink any of the booze is because he doesn't have opposable thumbs to pull the tabs. Sure, he could have broken the bottles. But he was trying to be polite and not make a mess.

Nothing runs (or tackles) like a Deer

Deer makes tackle in Ohio football game
Associated Press

WINTERSVILLE, Ohio — A 7-year-old Ohio boy playing a game of backyard football was tackled by a deer.

Brandon Hiles says he encountered the buck when the ball rolled into woods while he was playing with friends Saturday in Wintersville, about 125 miles east of Columbus. The boy says the buck ran at him and flipped him with its horns, leaving bruises and a gash.

His 9-year-old friend Wyatt Pugh beat the deer with a stick to make it go away.

Wintersville Police Officer Art Fowler Jr. says there were actually two bucks in the area gearing for a fight, and Brandon was attacked when he inadvertently got between them.

Doesn't it seem like there's more and more stories about animals invading neighborhoods? Its either a big coincidence or the animal revolution is just around the corner. Now, the animals seem to be studying our sporting events in an effort to better understand our weaknesses. This deer mastered football. If he can cover the deepball I'm willing to give him a Blackshirt.

P.S. - I would have been way to afraid to hit a buck with a stick. That 9-year-old has some stones on him.

F My Life Moment of the Day

Today, my secret crush, who sits next to me in Bio, asked if he could borrow my notes. I agreed. It was only after he drove away, with my notebook, that I realized that in the back of my notes, I had written his name 100 times, surrounded by little hearts. FML

Today, I told a lady that came into my clothing store that I thought her abstract looking necklace was pretty. She responded, "Oh... Thats actually a pipe that goes into my lung." FML

They're Playing Football!

A pretty run of the mill slate of games this week, which makes it a great time for me to escape for a road trip to Lubbock! Its going to be hard rooting for Tech a week after they pulled my heart out and ate it in front of me, but they're playing the Aggies. And I hate me some Aggies.

#3 Texas at Missouri
The Tigers have looked hapless defensively in their last 5 quarters of football, but the Longhorn offense has yet to inspire much adulation thus far this season. Is this the week the Horns finally explode offensively. They should. I'd throw it to that freshman WR on the edge and just let him run. I think Texas gets it done this week.

#25 Oklahoma at Kansas
OU is hurting offensively at the moment but so is Kansas' defense. It seems like every team in the Big 12 has some major malfunction on one side of the field. Except for Tech but things can change in an instant. Just ask A&M. I think this game will be a close one. Honestly, I could see the Jayhawks eeking out a close win. It will all depend on Landry Jones looking competent at QB.

#11 Penn State at Michigan
I think this game is going to be really exciting. Michigan hadn't won or lost a game by more than a touchdown until last week's big win against Deleware State. Who? Penn State seems to be back on track after the loss to Iowa. I can see this game being a pretty good shootout.

Tennessee at #1 Alabama
I'm not sure if the Crimson Tide feel slighted by not being the BCS #1 but I know they've been beating up lesser opponents and Tennessee is an inferior opponent. The Crimson Tide roll big again in this one.

#8 TCU at #17 BYU
Who would have thought a Mountain West game would be the game of the week? TCU looked dominating against a Colorado State squad that gave BYU all it could handle earlier this season. I know the respective score theory rarely holds up but I'll take the Horned Frogs to win here by a TD anyway.

#9 Iowa at Michigan State
The Hawkeyes can see probably see the big picture. A win this week and easy wins against Northwestern and Indiana would have Iowa at 10-0 before playing Ohio State. That's exactly why Michigan State wins this week.

Texas A&M at #22 Texas Tech
Tech has to be on Cloud Nine after a big win on the road against Nebraska while A&M couldn't be feeling worse after a 62-14 pasting by Kansas State. Expect those trends to continue next week as Tech will once again taking out the spanking stick on A&M. Big win.

(Fun) Party Politics

Sex-toy parties open door for U.S. politician
By BETH DeFALCO - THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — A lot of small business owners run for the Legislature, but one New Jersey candidate can tout a unique entrepreneurial experience: hosting sex-toy parties.

Stepfanie Velez-Gentry is the owner of Nookie Parties LLC. She makes a living organizing parties for women and couples where she sells sex toys, lotions, games, lingerie and other erotic items.

“It’s kind of like a Tupperware party, but with adult novelties,” the 29-year-old mother of two explained.

Or, as her Web site puts it, “For parties you will always remember and nights you will never forget.”

“We enhance people’s romances and make people happy. It’s wonderful,” she said. “It makes the moms and dads happy, and then everyone is happy.”

Velez-Gentry, a Republican from Bellmawr, is running for State Assembly. She started the company in 2007 as a way to help support her family in a tough economy. She said she works with more than 200 people nationwide to set up the parties.

“My husband is a printer. He’s in fear of losing his job,” she said. “We’re just like everyone else, we live paycheck to paycheck.”

She is vying for one of two open seat in District 5, which includes Camden and a stretch of middle-class Philadelphia suburbs. Most Republicans view the district as the safest in the state for Democrats.

I guess there's a third political party ready to make some progress in this country - the Fun party. Not only do they get bipartisan support. They get bisexual support. They don't just go to the polls. They go to the poles. And how about Mrs. Velez-Gentry, I'd like to fillibuster her if you know what I mean!

In all seriousness this is probably a smart political play and a smart business play. She's running in a Democratic sronghold and she's making herself seem like much more of a socially liberal candidate. Plus this story can only seek to stimulate her side business. No pun intended.

It's Official - Tom Brady is going to hell

Carolina Church Says Tom Brady Is Going to Hell
by Michael Hurley/NESN.com

Tom Brady has a lot to worry about these days. He's clearly missing a beat with the offense, and his team has dropped two of its first five games.

Now he has to worry about eternal damnation.

The Amazing Grace Baptist Church released a list of athletes who are going to hell, and the Patriots' quarterback headlines the list.

"Tom Brady has an unwed child, but it's okay because he wins Super Bowls," it says on the church's Web site, which has either crashed or been taken down. "Tom Brady is teaching us to have sex outside of marriage, to commit fornication, don't marry and do the right thing, don't take responsibility for your actions, have a good time no matter who you hurt in this world, go from sex partner to sex partner, and it's okay because of who I am. How many of you dad's cheer on Tom in the Super Bowl while your kids are watching?"

Fortunately for Brady, he'll have some company down there. Also on the list:

Richard Petty: "Richard Petty's god is racing, not God Almighty. He teaches that is okay in life to cheat just don't get caught doing it. Is Richard Petty your idol?"

Note: Cheating in automobile racing must be that forgotten chapter in the Bible.

Torrie Wilson (wrestler):"Committed an abomination by kissing a female wrester "Sable" on the lips."

Note: This rule is also listed in the Bible, a few verses after the groundrules for racecar driving.

Joakim Noah: "Has long hair, which is disobedient to the Word of God."

Note: Umm ... so, what about this guy? JC doesn't look like a guy who spent his Sundays at the local barber shop.

Matt Leinart: "He is teaching teenagers not to save themselves for their spouse, but to live it up because you only live life once. Is Matt your idol?"

Note: Matt Leinart isn't an idol to most people, but that has more to do with his football game than it does his off-the-field escapades.

Adam Archuleta: "Engaged to a Playboy Playmate Jennifer Walcott. They have one son. This is called fornication, and we all know what their son is called, the same thing the Bible calls him."

Note: Adam Archuleta plays safety for the Las Vegas Locomotives. He was cut by the Raiders last season. Certainly, the man has been punished enough. Does he not deserve some reward?

For Brady, this isn't the first time he's been under fire. He's been called everything from a bad dad to a money-hungry bum vigilante.

On Thursday, and for the rest of the season, chances are the only title he cares to win back is the one of "greatest quarterback ever."

Well I've been saying it for years. Tom Brady is going to hell. If for no other reason than just for wearing the shirt in the above picture. If for two reasons, then because his involvement in spy gate helped cost my beautiful head of hair. I think all the child out of wedlock stuff is just a side issue. God can look past that but when you cheat in a Super Bowl and cost a young fat man, you're calling down the thunder!

Seriously though, how did none of my favorite players make the list? I would have though Lawrence Phillips or Kobe would have been a no brainer. Have they never heard of Christian Peter?
